Additional Requirements None. If downloading the HP scanning software, locate the correct scanning software to download by following the applicable link. The Installer should automatically start.
If the Installer does not start, click Start , then click Run. Follow the instructions on the computer screen to install the HP scanning software. When the HP Scanjet scanning software is completely installed, shut down the computer. Connect the interface cables between the computer and the scanner, and then attach the scanner power cord to an electrical outlet. Restart the computer with the scanner power on.
A New Hardware Found window will open during the restart and the computer will install the necessary drivers. Instructions are listed below for either choice:.
